MacBook Clicking and Typing Issues
I am experiencing two major issues with my MacBook that are severely affecting my ability to work efficiently. Below are the details of the problems:
1. Clicking Issue: https://youtu.be/CWEhDjJFQho
Whenever I click on any link or section of a page in both Chrome and Safari, it automatically downloads an HTML file. This happens on every webpage, making it very difficult to browse and work normally.
2. Typing Issue: https://youtu.be/Hvll61szO9s
Despite having the input source set to US English, the typing output is incorrect. For example, when I type certain characters or symbols, the output is different from what I expect. I have checked and confirmed that the US English input source is selected, but the issue persists.
- Steps I Have Taken: To resolve these issues, I have already taken the following steps:
- Reinstalled macOS: I have reinstalled macOS completely.
- Reset Browser Settings: I reset all settings in both Chrome and Safari.
- Checked Keyboard Input Source: I verified that the US-English input source was correctly selected and removed any other input sources.
- NVRAM/PRAM Reset: I performed an NVRAM/PRAM reset, but the problem remains unresolved.
- IApple Diagnostics: I already tested Apple Diagnostics No Issues ADP000.
Request for Assistance:
I would appreciate your help in resolving these issues, as they are significantly impacting my daily work.
