USB c wall outlets not working with USB c cable for Iphone 15

We have new electrical outlets installed with the USB A and C charging included. They work with an android USB C phone charger and I can use my block plug to charge my phone but every single outlet won't charge my iphone 15 or my iPad using just the USB C apple cables. Why?

Why does my iPhone 16 only charge with Apple chargers not third party chargers? My iPhone 16 will only charge with the chargers that come in the Apple box when you buy a phone. It works with my charger and it works with my sister‘s charger, but it will not charge with any other USB-C cable that I have. It doesn’t give me any kind of pop-up notification when I plug it in Sometimes I won’t even get a charging notification and sometimes it’ll charge for two seconds and then stop charging. USB to USB-C charging and data cable for iPad Pro 11" I recently got a new iPhone 16 Pro and iPad Pro 11". I have a recliner with a USB port. The USB to USB-c cable I have works fine with my iPhone but not with my iPad. It will not charge the iPad. I get the same results when I plug the USB end into my Mac laptop. I've read that the USB port in the recliner may not be strong enough to charge the iPad. Can anyone confirm this? Also, why would the same happen when I connect to my Mac?

Ask whoever installed the outlets and ports for the power specifications and tested measurements of the USB-C ports.

The ports need to provide 9 VDC / 2.2.AMPs. That would be a minimum of about 22 Watts.
