The new IOS 18 Calculator does not have the running total feature and there no way to go back to the old Calculator. We use this feature extensively.
It's interesting that if you go the apple product feedback page the Calculator is not even listed to provide feedback on.

As terrible as it is to use this work-around for something that used to work, I set one currency as US Dollar, the other as Bermudan Dollar. They always hold the same value so there will be no conversion and will give you a running total.
Or they could just give us the running total back.

US Dollar grayed out. Doesn't want to convert to itself. But why have to try and do that anyway? Worked great in previous version...
A typical Apple OS update, let’s change something that’s working fine & stuff it up.
Thanks you. I think we all know that. The object is not to have to hit = after every number input.
It doesn’t just seem annoying, it *is* annoying. They’ve forced us to add more steps for the same function.
What good is a “calculator” without a running total?! Geez, that’s what they’ve been used for for frikkin ever! Bad move Apple.
This was an absurd update for me. I used the running total feature EVERY DAY in construction and other uses. Now, the calculator is rendered useless in my hand.
I have not found that it’s never available to choose US currency.
I assume it doesn't work because I live in a country other than the US therefore the solution offered is useless to the world majority.

As annoying as it might seem, simply hit the equal (=) key after each function and number are entered to see a running total.
