iPhone 12 Pro Battery at 78% Health – Restarts and Drains Rapidly

Hello,I’m experiencing a major issue with my iPhone 12 Pro’s battery performance. The battery health has dropped to 78%, and I’ve noticed that after charging my phone to 100%, it behaves strangely. When it reaches around 78%, the phone suddenly restarts. After it reboots, the battery percentage drops drastically, showing only 10%.

I’ve already tried basic troubleshooting like restarting the device and updating iOS, but the issue persists. Is this a sign that my battery needs replacement, or are there any other steps I should try to restore normal performance?

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Once battery health reached 80%, it was time to pay Apple to replace the battery in your phone. Until you do, the battery is failing and that's the solution and fix you need. Significant problems could happen if you don't replace the battery. For example the battery could swell, destroying the phone completely. Don't delay on this.
