How can I get rid of the background update message on my iPhone 16 Pro Max?

I have had this message for almost 24 hours and it is draining my battery . The Message came after I updated to “new” iOS 18 on new iPhone 16 pro max. The battery seems to drop like 10% in 2 hours on idle. The phone was manufactured August 2024 and activated just 2 days back.

Keep settings of battery as below:

Charge limit 100%

Turn off both optimized battery charging and clean energy charging

And leave the phone on charger, locked, overnight.

This message will vanish by morning :)’’’

please remember : Turn of Notifications. Otherwise multiple messages or notifications might interrupt the purpose that it was intended to do.

I get this with every update since 18. Usually by now it’s gone away until the next update however, I just updated to 18.3 on 28 January, It first showed up 31 January and then it went away. Then came back then it went away. Today is February 3rd And it’s popped up again. And I’m trying to figure out why other than maybe it’s because I have an iPhone 12 and it’s an older phone. But background updates should not take almost a week To complete, especially when there’s not a lot on my phone.
