Can’t call or text someone with an android

When I text it doesn’t send and when I call it’s doesn’t ring and they can’t text nor call me . That’s only with an android though.

Not receiving text or phone calls from one person Not receiving texts and when they call me it goes straight to my voicemail. But I can call them and I can text them and they receive them. I tried deleting their contacts and re-adding them back and it has not worked. Could someone please help

Is this just one person, or everyone with an Android?

As both calls and texts are carrier features, you need to contact your carrier.

Note that all US carriers had outages both sides of Noon EDT on September 30. Verizon had the worst problem.
