What happened to my passwords on my iPhone after updating to iOS 18. There’s no more password icon on my phone it’s like all my passwords have been wiped clean off my phone

What answer? I'm not sure what the confusion is? When iOS 18 was released, they made changes to several areas within iOS. One change was to remove Passwords from Settings and move Passwords into its own App. The moment you downloaded iOS 18, the app was placed on your last home screen. It holds ALL the passwords you had access to when it was still in Settings.
This is not a 3rd party Password app. It is Apple's Password app.

I can’t see my stored passwords any longer. I tried everything. YouTube gone,Netflix, everything gone! Apple do better why fix what ain’t broken
The app was included with the iOS 18 update. Even the release notes said it was included. It managed to show up on both of our iPhones on iOS 18. It appeared on every persons iPhone in my office who updated to iOS 18.
I accessed the list that had passwords listed - like before the update - but I don't have a clue how I found it! I thought I had it - but when I backed out of it, then tried to go back to the list, I couldn't find it :>(
This new way of getting to passwords is really awkward and clunky!! I don’t like it at all. I’m used to going straight to it to check a password when ordering something! Give me back the old way please.
Don’t mind changes, but what I do mind is that I must hunt to find a feature I use every day. Plus, I have to click more icons to get to Passwords — instead of one.
This change makes no sense.
If this is Apple’s effort to deter bad actors from finding Passwords, any criminally-minded person will know how to get to my passwords much better than I do.
This ‘update’ only hamstrings users.
Thought what Apple strives for in their iPhones is ease of use.
Hope Apple rethinks this very poor ‘update’ and restores the Password icon on the first screen in Settings.

But what the **** were you nerds thinking??????????
How many websites are there are there on this planet that ask for two step verification?
A Degenerative move considering the number of apps moving to a time-limited 2nd-step code-reply
And why have you added so many steps to access the passwords app?

iPhone still remains a great product
But the iOS is sometimes so frustratingly impractical that I'm considering a Galaxy...yes, really!!!
What are the stats on customer loss after each upgrade?
What about whenever extra steps are added to an already existing multi-step process?

Who do you think your speaking with? Apple? You're not. This is a user to user only forum, which no one from Apple reads for user feedback. So, us "nerds" weren't thinking anything as no one here works for Apple. And as users only, we truly don't care what phone you spend your money on. It doesn't matter to us at all.
Personally, I think the new Passwords App is infinitely smarter, easier to find and a great thing.
Me too. Not a clue how to navigate round this community as not been on before but my phone wont even autofill on sites that I regularly use. I’ve checked my husbands phone and all his are still there

You're welcome. Do yourself a favor and when you update your iPhone, new features are always listed below the update button. It was listed on the iOS 18 update when it was released in September.
iPhone 14 upgrade to iPhone 18 has obliterated any faith I ever had in Apple. Not only can I not find SETTINGS where I used to find my PASSWORDS, but the Community is suggesting I GO TO SETTINGS to fix this — but my SETTINGS access is no longer there.
Why can’t Apple have APPLE people help instead of having their customers do their patching up for them? I have HAD it with Apple!
Apple has never made my life easier with upgrades.
Apple this and Apple that. I always am left with a struggle or must turn to the Community (still little success) or I must get help (very good help) at the Best Buy Geek Squad. I am P-Off.

No one from Apple is going to respond to you here. Since you know this is a community (user to user only) forum and you have needed to turn to it for help, maybe be a bit nicer as we are just users like you, volunteering our time trying to help users. See my response to you just above this post. Try what I suggested.
I have the passwords app and understand that's where they are stored now. But, only about 9 of my dozens and dozens of passwords are in the app. Where are the others I had when we accessed them through settings?
I’ve turned my phone off and on several times, I also have the password app, but many of my passwords are not filling in or being incorrect, which is not only frustrating to have to do them again but I’m also locked out of amazon now and that’s where we have our Christmas wish lists 🥺
All Apple had to do was to describe what was about to happen to us BEFOREHAND. The way Apple does things is — it’s masochistic sometimes. I can’t say that I am better off for having changed from a Samsung device. Apple is overdone, if you ask me.
