I upgraded to iOS 18.5 on my iPhone 13 Pro 4 days ago. Since the update, I can’t receive incoming phone calls or voicemails. They do not show up in recent calls and I do not see any new voicemails at all. Turning my phone on and off again works temporarily (with a window of 5 minutes to 2 hours, most often only 5 minutes before I have to turn it on and off again). I have reset my network settings, focus is turned off, block unknown callers is turned off, and Apple diagnostic showed no issue. If my phone is off and someone calls and leaves a voicemail, I receive it once I turn my phone on.
Verizon told me it is a software issue and that they can’t do anything on their end, and that the issue is caused by this update. I know it is.
My phone is useless now and I can’t receive calls. This is affecting my business. I was told that I’d have to purchase a new phone to fix this issue. Why do I have to pay for a problem with apple’s software? I would expect the phone and software to work as intended and advertised.
I have tried everything except restoring my phone to factory settings. Does anyone have any ideas what else to try?
