How do I enable text announcement in CarPlay after iOS 18 update

I am having the same issue since the update and it is very annoying. I have checked all the settings and everything is set to on, yet it still says notifications are silenced.

Please make new update where text messages will reappear on my truck dash screen. Lost this feature after last update on iPhone. This feature was way safer then the way it is now

This is absurd!!! How is it safer to not have the text bubble pop up on the screen so I can touch that instead of going through all sorts of screens???? This makes no sense!!!

another issue with this update is how it rearranged all the photo folders. It makes no sense and it seems to change every few days.

Same here and it’s super annoying taking eyes off the wheel so many times .

Yes, found that out today when I installed the latest software update. And even editing photos - mostly cropping them - is a pain.

Tape on the name of the person and Siri will ask what do u want to say !!

I deleted Driving Focus all together and it still didn’t work for me.
