Iphone 16 pro max first activation date

I bought an Iphone 16 pro max yesterday on an unauthorized Apple store, but in an local smartphone store.But i noticed that the warranty expired on September 19,2025. (Yesterday was October 2 2024) when i first activated my phone.Does that mean that the iPhone was purchaced and/or activated on September 20, 2024 by third party?

You bought a used / gray market device. The warranty expires one year from the original date of sale by Apple or an authorized retailer.

You might want to check the model number to see if the phone even came from the same country you’re in… The warranty is not international.

Changed your Carrier or SIM
Reset your Device.
Reset Statistics on your Device
