ipad pro 2022 automatically switch on wifi6e mode

I use sunshine and moonlight to stream my pc with my ipad, which requires very stable Internet connection. I found that when the ipad is using wifi6e connection, the streamline frequently fail. So I turned wifi6e mode off on the ipad, but after a few days, ipad will switch that wifi6e back on automatically. Even now everytime the streamline cut off, I would suspect the wifi6e problem. Is there any way I can turn that wifi6e mode off PERMANENTLY? REALLY ANNOYING!

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

  1. If your WiFi6E and WiFi5 are on the same SSID, then you need to separate them (on your access point or router), and on your iPad, forget the WiFi6E SSID.
  2. If they're on different SSIDs, just forget the WiFi6E SSID.

Devices usually select the best available wifi signal.
