Unable to find Hindi (Latin) keyboard on my iPhone SE running iOS 18

I had the same problem, solved by adding Hindi to the normal keyboard

Settings-> General -> Keyboard -> Keyboards ->English(india) -> add Language -> Hindi

adding Hindi to my primary keyboard as language solved my Hinglish auto correct problem. You can add up to three languages to English keyboard

By this do you mean autocorrection of non-devanagari Hindi?

Did you ever use that keyboard for IAST hindi transcription (i.e to type things like saṃskṛta)?

English (India) types English language spellings with Indian context, which is similar to English (U.K.) but with some additions and differences. Whereas the Hindi (Latin) or Hinglish keyboards used to type the Hindi language in English/Latin letters.

The addition of Hindi keyboard to the English keyboard allows for switching between Latin to Devnagri script seamlessly but doesn’t allow typing Hindi language in the English/Latin script.

I think English (India) does the same as the former Hindi Latin. Let me know if not.
