Hello, i have iphone 13 ios 18.0.1 and before this update, my battery had no issues at all; right now, afer 30 min of tiktok its from 100% to 85%.

Does anybody know how can we push to get a fix ? Or does anybody know how we can fix it? I already check the background app refresh and some other configurations to "help" but its not working... Thanks in advance.

30 nonstop minutes of TikTok uses a lot of battery power. To lose 15% of 30 minutes of TikTok would not be a cause for concern. Anything which uses a lot of power, such as streaming videos/music, using the camera, etc., will cause the battery to go down.

How long have you owned your iPhone 13? What is the current Battery Health? Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

If you think Android doesn't ever change things and owning an Android is the best solution for you, get an Android. But they do change things. All manufacturers update apps on their phones. As users only, on this user to user only forum, it doesn't matter to us what phone you think is best.

If however, you'd like to make adjustments to the new Photo app to more resemble what you had, this tutorial from 9to5Mac is actually pretty good --> https://9to5mac.com/2024/09/17/ios-18-photos-app-change/

I got some smart xxx message about why this is not their fault for messing up so many phones. The problem is, if you are not sure your updates work, stop coming up with them or accept the design from someone who is knowledgeable enough to know what they are doing. I have an android and I have had android phones for almost 16 years from work and I have never had one single issue with any of those phones over the years, so the fact that you would say, “ all phones have issues” doesn’t justify the incompetence of who ever developed this update in order to shift the blame and not accept responsibility of the screw up someone made. Fix these people’s phones like they were before being advertised to update to a flawed development. We expect things to be better when we get updates.

I don’t need your greatness on how you guys see your update when obviously that’s not the case. This update was a disaster and your advertisement on trying to justify it is unacceptable. Developers should also give customers options on other updates that will offer the previous update so we can go back to the previous one incase things aren’t working for us. Stop trying to force people to keep you ideas.
