My MacBook air cable from my mac I purchased 3 months ago snapped? Will AppleCare+ cover a replacement?

Last night I put my cable plugged into my macbook. I woke up to find it snapped? I thought the build quality was better, but I might've been mistaken or got a faulty cable.

I have Apple Care +, which goes on for another almost 2.5 years. Will it cover the replacement of my cable?

Accessories included with your Mac are also covered by AppleCare+. But only Apple can make the determination if coverage applies.
