My 2022 Honda won’t connect to CarPlay since I bought my Ipone Pro. The port to display screen is not USC. I tried a small an adapter and that didn’t work. I received a cord from Best Buy that you can plug in to USB port but the other end is usc but still nothing. I need the navigation

Turns out that I had the right adapters and cords someone on You Tube said to just reboot my Honda’s computer system by pressing the radio button fo 10 seconds. A message comes up asking if you want to reboot once you press yes it reboots and my music came on my apps were there etc . Not even the Honda dealership didn’t come up with that.

Does your Honda offer wireless connectivity for CarPlay? If not, a number of outfits sell adapters to provide a wireless connection.
Be sure that the USB port, that you are connecting your iPhone to, supports both power AND data, not just power alone. The latter will not work.
No it doesn’t you have to plug into port. I used an small adapter in then was able to use USC to plug into phone but only charged new phone then I went to Best Buy and they suggested a cable that was usb to plug in and the other was usc but that connected to bluetooth but not CarPlay.
Well, how about that! Great troubleshooting! I'm glad you got it worked out ... and thanks for providing the solution. I'm sure it will help other Honda (& other cars without wireless CarPlay capability) owners to get this working for them.
