Administer of privileges are out of hand!

I recently received a Macbook Air M3, 8GB 256GB that runs on MacOS Sonoma as a gift from my uncle. When I got my hands on it, it was already opened and settings were set up ( I live in Uzbekistan, and he bought it from USA to check whether it was operating smoothly). First, I logged out of his iCloud account then tried to rename main directory folder and that's where the whole thing happened. As i changed it, from an admin account I just turned into a standard user. Ever since, I can't upgrade my operating system, install new applications or modify the settings. ( Note: I tried many YouTube videos, but they weren't of any help at all. No working methods I could find.). So, if any of you guys can help to resolve this issue, I'd be really happy.

No need to apologize; I understand. If you renamed the Home folder, I agree it implies a different problem but the solution may still be the same.

Renaming the Home folder must only be accomplished by following this (different) procedure: Change the name of your macOS user account and home folder - Apple Support. Determine if you can comply with any of those procedures, but in the end it may still be required to erase the Mac in accordance with those "selling a Mac" instructions.

My apologies, I must've explained the situation a bit opaquely. Even though, the machine was set up, he logged out of his account and I had an admin control. Then, out of my stupidity, I tried to rename the home folder which led me to the final issue. Now, if I wanna modify any settings that require admin privileges, I insert the old username and passwords which is no avail along the new password and username.
