Since installing 18.0.1 on iPhone 16 pro, Face ID when using Apple Pay does not work. Reverts to PIN input. All other Face ID functions appear to be working. Settings for Face ID payments are selected ON

Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > Face ID & Passcode > enter passcode for iPhone > Contactless & Payment > enable (Green), if the setting is enabled, please momentarily disable the setting then enable the setting again and restart the device.

Finally got to test out fix. First time attempted Apple Pay with Face ID, iPhone defaulted to message to enter PIN, but before I got to enter first digit, it accepted the charge.
On the next attempt, charge went through using Face ID with no problem.
