All apps but Passwords opened with just the passcode. For Passwords the passcode entry screen will eventually appear after several failed attempts, but after entering the correct code, a message appears stating that face-id is still required. This is contrary to the message that appears at the time of setting the "require face-id" option for any app, which states that either face-id or passcode will open the app. I want family members who know the unlock code to have complete access to any locked apps, and I understand that I can add them to face-id (they declined), but I think that if the instructions state that a locked app can be opened either way, then it should. iPhone demanding Password entry when adding an application or subscription even if Face ID is enabled Why does my iPhone keep asking for my password when I add an application or subscription even when I have Face ID enabled? This is very frustrating. We have password managers for a reason. Apple just lost a subscription because I just went straight to Peacock. Fix this!

How can I access hidden apps on iPhone 11 without Face ID? I have an Iphone 11 with IOS 18.3. My face ID is off because I dropped my phone but I was still able to hid some apps on the hidden folder. Earlier I planned to hide another app but it says “Could Not Authenticate. Only the device owner may enable Require Face ID for and app. Require face ID was not enabled.” then I checked my hidden folder immediately, and it won’t open. Try to force close the app and reopen it to see if the problem has been solved, if that doesn’t help try to restart you iPhone!
