Apple Pay Cash declines draft kings showing they are a restricted merchant even though Draft Kings accepts Apple Pay. It will work however if you use your bank debit card linked to Apple Pay. Why is Draft Kings a restricted merchant when clearly it works with a linked debit card?

Gambling is considered a high risk activity and many banks do not want the risk that gamblers and other high risk customers present. Some banks just close accounts and black list customers when they engage in high risk activities. I’d consider myself lucky and just move on.
