Siri won’t tell me the current UV index, opens up an empty UV index health page instead

Try saying “What’s the UV index for today” or “What’s the weather UV index”.

If this doesn’t work, Siri might be recommending the health app because you use it frequently. Try going into settings > Siri > Delete Siri & Dictation History.

Note that this change will make Siri forget everything that it learned. Most people are cool with that and don’t frequently use Siri suggestions.

Try asking Siri “what is the current UV index outside?”

It may be that it will take it a little while to go back to what it used to do. Sometimes updates shake things up a little.

I’m able to say “What’s the UV index” regularly on iOS 18.0.1.
