Help with appearance of Netflix subtitles On AppleTV

This is more like information, rather than a question because I was looking all over for help with this and there wasn’t anything helpful on here. Eventually, I found something on Reddit and it worked!

Changing your subtitle preferences in your Netflix account will not change on AppleTV unless we edit the subtitle settings in the Apple accessibility settings.

Go to the accessibility settings and then subtitles and create your own style. Make sure you turn off “override video” in all the options. For example, when changing the font size and color, look further for the override video setting and turn it off. Do this for all of the font characteristics. Hope this helps!
