Would buying iPad Pro 11.2 Inches - 2020 in 2024 is a good idea?

Greetings Apple Folks,

Would you guys recommend this iPad in 2024? Personally, I found one for $415 on a third-party website and I thought it was a really good deal.

If there is anything I should know about this product before I decide to purchase it, please let me know...

Thanks!

-Mr. Silver

—Second, the Battery. If this iPad is truly "new," the battery has been sitting around aging for 3-4 years. Very bad for battery life expectancy. The "good deal" part fades with you have to pay Apple $120 for a battery service in a few months.

— Third: Apple devices tend to get OS support and hardware service for about 5 years from date of last production. For 11.2-inch iPad Pros introduced in 2020, the "last production" appears to be April 2021. Therefore you will benefit for only about 2-1/2 years of OS upgrades before that model gets no more. The could mean replacing the iPad sooner than you would a new on.

If you want a discounted price, look to Apple Refurbs. Tha re available ONLY from Apple web-direct, and only in certain countries. This is the US site:

If you are not in the US, scroll to the bottom of your country's Apple home page and look at the little gray links there. If you have access to Apple refurbs, you will see this:
