I tried several times to pair a newly purchased airtag to my iphone 15 by following all the instructions, including making sure updating my iphone to the latest version. Each time after I paired the airtag and the iphone, the airtag which I picked the name “luggage” would not show up in Find My app tap. It seems I have no way of tracking my luggage when I’m on a trip. What else can I do?

You tapped on the Items tab at the bottom of Find My? That's where the AirTags are displayed, not in the Devices tab.

Thanks for your reply. But there is no Item tab anywhere under Find My app. I was wondering if there is somewhere a tab I didn’t turn on, but I did turn on all the tabs mentioned in all the tips I read.
