I would like to change the color (grey) of the birthday calendar in the iOS calendar. But there is no Information circle in that row. How do I change the color?
Running iOS 18.0.1 on iPhone 12 Plus, and iOS 18.0.1 on iPad Pro 6th gen.

It seems that the color of the birthday calendar cannot be changed directly. If you want a custom color, consider creating a new calendar and moving your birthday events there. This way, you can choose any color you like.

I was hoping Apple has some hidden method to change this. I don’t use the apple calendar itself, but allow another calendar app to pull from it. Because the apple calendar birthday is grey, so is my other one.
Looks like I get to manually enter birthdays into my primary calendar app. Something I was hoping to avoid.

I’m sitting trying to imagine a programmer who is making a major IOS revision waking up one morning and saying, “I have a great idea, let’s change the birthdays on all of the calendars to a color that doesn’t catch anyone’s eye and not give them a way to change it.” Then all the other programmers saying, “Great idea - done!”
