iMessage Contact Photos not showing

In iMessages contact photos aren’t appearing of the people that I’ve texted.

There little profile picture should be to the left of the message on the iMessages app.

And “Show Contact Photo in Messages”. Is on.

Any advice etc, suggestions ?

I found it, my text was too large, I decrease the size of my text and the contact pictures appeared.
