How can I fix connection issues on my Apple TV?

We have a new TV and I trying to log into my Apple TV Apple. I click on sign in and this pops up:


something went wrong

there was a problem connecting. Try again

I have restarted the TV and the App and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing is working

I also reset the app with no success.

Uninstalled and then reinstalled the app with no success.


Still saying something went wrong

Also having the same issue. My model is NS-75F501NA25. I can open the app, but when I attempt to sign in it just keeps saying “Something Went Wrong”. Gives me the options or ‘Try Again’ or ‘Not Now’. Try again just throws the same error over and over. Every other app streams fine. I can watch Apple TV from my other 2 insignia TVs fine as well. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled 6 times, my tv is up to date. I’ve unplugged my tv, I’ve unplugged my router. Nothing has worked so far.

I got in touch with Amazon support today and they asked me to restart the TV.


'I did find one error on the account, could you please restart your TV for

me please then check to see if you getting the same issue?'


There was not a new update since last week but when I rebooted the TV (not just turned it off and on but did the restart from the amazon menu 'Devices & Software' -> 'Restart' selection).

After doing that, I opened the Apple TV app and it then gave a QR code to sign in. That took care of it for me as I was successfully able to login at that point.

I am having the same issue. I’ve used Apple TV for the past several years and had no issue. But on Monday, 10-21, I stopped being able to access Apple TV and I keep getting an error message. It says there is no internet connection, but I do have one and can access other apps. I don’t even get to the log in screen. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app on the TV but no luck. I have a Samsung 8K TV.

How can I fix connection issues on my Apple TV?
