The new ios 18.1 larger emoji row is really annoying, Is there any way to get rid of it? There should at least be an option because in a ton of people’s preferences it’s too big and annoying. I want the old emoji rows back. Any help?

Actually the larger emojis has been a long standing request by users as they complained that the emojis were too small. They used the feedback link to let Apple know and now you see larger emojis. You can do the same thing to let Apple know how you feel and maybe they can make an option to allow multiple sizes. Apple won't see your post here, so that won't do any good, but here is the feedback link where they will read your comments.
Guys i finally find a way out! If you have a foreign language (to my case, Cangjie the tranditional chinese), the emoji size will come out the former size but choice goes vertically.

I agree with this but as of now there is no way to make it smaller. They might add a setting in the future that gives the option but right now we have to live with it.
I found the way! Download from AppStore any app with Emoji keyboard. It’ll add one more keyboard. Than delete apple emoji keyboard in the settings of keyboard

This is a messed up update! I was checking the keyboard options to see if there was any option that would allow to make it smaller, but there isn't!
Please, include it in the following updates, as it makes it much more harder to keep emojis into conversations and to slide across the categories.
I would not be updating to 18.1 if I would knew upfront what disaster was about to come!
It’s called Kaiboard - a keyboard that you can type Traditional Chinese and English simultaneously. Download the Kaiboard app and install. After that go to “Settings” “General” “Keyboard” then add new keyboard.

Hopefully you know you are not speaking to Apple here. The way to do that is by using the Feedback link that has been posted many times. Unfortunately the solution gets buried with "me too" posts from users who fail to read the responses before posting. Apple will not see your post here.
