The new ios 18.1 larger emoji row is really annoying, Is there any way to get rid of it? There should at least be an option because in a ton of people’s preferences it’s too big and annoying. I want the old emoji rows back. Any help?

Same literally the worst update to date. I deleted the emoji keyboard completely from my keyboard list until they fix it and downloaded a free emoji app in the meantime with normal sized emojis. Only solution I've found so far is just delete it completely for now. Very frustrating. They at the very least need an emoji keyboard size setting like the rest of the font size settings. I never come on here to write but this was definitely needed, glad I am not the only one who hates it, looks like it's a majority of users.
Really, really annoyed. Not just the change itself, but the fact that there's nothing to be done about it, is so frustrating.
One thing that still baffles me about Apple is the fact that "modifications" are not negotiable. It's just like that whole U2 album fiasco from a few years ago - They change something without any warning or consulting with the customers themselves, and then remove any possibility to revert. It's so annoying.
The Emoji keyboard is just another keyboard, let us use it accordingly and pick the font/Emoji size!
I repeat the problems above. It seems to me that in WhatsApp, Threema and Signal only some of the emojis are sent ( after having written some letters) straight - out of the message - in a big way as a single message - not all of them;
and which are doing it - and which ones not: is not discernible. Please, please change!

Hello, a temporary fix I have found to have the old smaller emoji page is by using the Grammarly keyboard. Hope this helps
