Why is the L shortcut not working in Final Cut Pro?
Sometimes I can use “L” button to speed up clip preview, but most of the time it plays mac sound and does nothing. Any ideas?

Start by trashing your settings. Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application. If it's still not working check the Command Editor and see what assigned to L.

macos makes sound when I press those innactive buttons and my mac is almost new, those buttons work in every other programs
