My iPhone 15 will ONLY record in MOV format -- even if I check the "most compatible" box under, "Formats." These MOV files will not play in Windows Media Player, and will not even convert to MP4 using converter software. Apple: HOW CAN WE RECORD IN MP4, LIKE THE REST OF PLANET EARTH?

Make this the default option. Change it back, when need be...

No I'm sorry, but that doesn't work. I've done that. It still records in WAV. I can convert now, after downloading to desktop -- can use a converter, I fixed that problem (was a memory issue). But changing to "Most Compatible" does not alter how it records.
Wav is an audio file, you cannot record a video in wav format.
