Why aren't accents showing on my Logitech Keyboard when connected to iPad?

Hi!

I am currently using a logitech combotouch keyboard on my ipad Air 4. When i try to add an accent to any note I am making, the accent doesn’t show up, instead only showing me the amount of options available. I have attached a pictured of what happens when i use the Logitech keyboard, vs when i use the ipad pop-up keyboard. As you can see, the accents don’t appear when I use the Logitech keyboard.

Does anyone know if this is a problem on Apple’s side, or on Logitech’s side? Thank you!
