Assistance Required Regarding Remote Management Issue on MacBook Pro M1 2020
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro M1 2020 through a college auction. After performing a factory reset on the laptop, I encountered a prompt during the setup process regarding “Remote Management,” indicating that the device could still be accessed by the college.
Upon inquiring with the college, I was informed that they had released my laptop from their end. However, when I connect the laptop to the internet, I continue to receive notifications stating, “The college can automatically configure your Mac” and “Allow Device Enrollment – the college can automatically configure your Mac based on settings provided by your system administrator.”
I have already checked the “Profiles” section in the system settings, but the option for “Profiles” does not appear.
This issue is causing significant difficulties, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving it. Please advise on how to proceed.
