Increase in spam calls on iPhone

In the past 1-2 months I have gone from receiving no spam calls to getting at least 5 a day. This is extremely annoying, I can’t just block the callers since the spammers are using a different number every time.

What can I do to fix this issue?

The option I use is Silence Unknown Callers. See: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support

Any call from a caller not in your Contacts (or that you haven't been in contact with as described in the above support article) will go to voicemail. My experience has been that most spam callers won't leave a voicemail.

Check with your phone company to see if they have a feature called "Call Control" What the phone company I use a feature that does this.

Call control is an opt-in feature to help to you avoid unwanted callers.

An authorized caller can make calls to you at any time.

A blocked caller will not be able to make calls to your number.

An unassigned caller will be prompted to enter a number before the call can be connected.

It eliminates a lot of unwanted calls that are usually made by computers.

If you're in the U.S., wait for two weeks from yesterday. I think you'll find the number drops precipitously on November 6th.
