How do I resolve iOS compatibility issues with bank links on my iPhone?

I’m trying to use a link from a bank to do a virtual id check when I tap the link it keeps saying os not supported use iOS. My phone is an iOS Apple phone. Is there something in my settings blocking me from being able to do this
