My camera roll photos are not uploading anymore, the message displayed says ‘ an error occurred while loading a higher-quality version of this photo’

Uploading, or downloading?


That message reads like it’s trying to download the higher resolution version of an image which has been offloaded to iCloud Photos using the “Optimize Phone Storage” option.


Log into iCloud.com on the web to see if the high quality version of those images are in the cloud.


Presuming you’ve already restarted your phone, you could try turning off “Sync this phone”, and then turn it back on in the ICloud settings section of Settings.
