iPhone does not have Birthday’s Calendar

I have many birthdays assigned to contacts in my phone. These are all saved on iCloud. My iPad displays the birthdays, my iPhone does not. I have contacts and calendar syncing but my birthdays don’t sync. The calendar doesn’t even have the option to add the birthday calendar. Apple support and Apple Store couldnt help me.

See if this works:

Sign into your iCloud account at iCloud.com and go to the calendar.

Click on the circle with the dots inside to reveal a menu, the click on Settings and in the Appearances tab see if you have a tick in the box labelled 'Show Birthdays Calendar'. If not, click on the box.

The idea of this is to generate the Birthdays calendar on your iCloud account and all the devices signed into that account. You could also try to deactivate it, then after a pause reactivate it. This might then create it on the iPhone. I think it's an outside chance but worth a try nevertheless.
