I have tried everything including turning theatre mode off, I just can’t figure it out. My software update is 11.0.1 so it’s up to date. Wrist orientation if fine , it’s set on phone and watch, I’ve turned it off and on even reset.

Had tried that previously but thank you. I did however get it to work , I cleaned the base with a damp cloth then dried with dry cloth, I used microfibre cloth's but I’m sure that doesn’t matter too much.
If that had failed I was going to shave my wrist as I’m a bit hairy :-)
