Facebook app refusing correct password on new iPad ….. solution?

For those of you having Facebook password issues on new iPads, I had the same issue I tried everything reset iPad uninstalled the app changed password no help. As a last resort I uninstalled the app powered off iPad powered back up went to re install the app and before I did I noticed that I still had messenger app installed and since it uses the same account info, I logged onto messenger and it worked. I installed the Facebook app again and tried logging in while still logged into messenger and it Worked!!!!!! Hope this works for others as well.
