Iphone keyboard has wierd characters on it

My iphone keyboard has wierd characters on it (see pic). The q has a backward facing c (ɔ) and the x has a backward facing 3 (ɛ). It dowsn’t happen all the time but mist of the time. When it does happen the keyboard loses the predictive text and the special characters function except the ɔ and ɛ which uf you press and hold will let you type Q and x. Its a pain in the but. Anyone knows what could have caused it?
