iPhone 13 Pro Max Facebook short videos issue A few days ago when I was looking at a short video on Facebook within Reels and Short Videos I was able to scroll through other videos but then it suddenly stopped. When I try to scroll to the next video the page would appear black but the various 'grey boxes' that do appear look like they are pulsating as if Facebook is having an issue loading the video. I noticed then it was on all short videos I went into that this was happening. I checked that Facebook was up to date and no new update was available. I uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook on my mobile in the event the app was corrupt despite everything else working but same issue. I have deleted cache but no joy as well as turning of network and switching it back on but same issue. I checked on my PC to see if it were a Facebook issue but the short videos scroll through with no issue. I have checked vbideos in my camera roll and these play without any issues and can scroll through these on my phone so I haven't reset the network as I feel that this is not the issue Please can someone who may have experienced this before and was able to fix it advise me on how to resolve this as everything I check and do does not resolve the issue

MacBook Air wont playback Facebook videos I have a 2020 MacBook air that is running on MacOS 13.4.1 when I go to playback a video on facebook the video plays for a second and then I receive a message that says "Sorry we're having trouble playing this video" I have empty the caches, clear history, quit safari, and restarted Mac. This Macbook is running on wifi. The issue persists. I have tested the issue on other Macs as well: 2017 macbook air that is running MacOS Monterrey 12.6.6. This Macbook is running on wifi. 2021 iMac running on MacOS 13.4.1. The iMac is hardwired. The only devices that I can play facebook videos back on with no issues are the iOS devices such as iphone 8, iphone pro, and my iphone 14 pro max

Facebook marketplace keeps crashing on IPad So there was a thread where someone posed the same question. Tech response was to clear cache. So did that, got the t-shirt and still the same problem. SO? Did someone want to try their hand at a new idea? Oh yeah before you say restart the iPad - delete facebook and reinstall - or make sure you’re running the latest update - yeah, I got that t-shirt as well.

Hello!

It seems to me like you’re trying to view HDR (High Dynamic Range) video on a device that doesn’t support HDR. HDR content on a device that can’t display HDR often shows up as overexposed or pale.

Most people who record on their phones have HDR turned on by default and don’t turn it off for Social media causing some people to view their images or videos like how you have been.

If it’s only the images / videos that show up like that and not the whole screen I believe this is your issue. There’s no way to fix it other than getting a newer device that does support HDR.

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, my IPad is from 2015… time to buy something newer.
