Is it safe to use a bent USB-C charger on my Mac?

Oops, I did not realize the cable you were picturing is NOT a MagSafe with a T-shaped end, but a more modern USB-C cable. My previous posts were actually NOT insane, I was just confused about which cable you were using.

I think much more so than a MagSafe end, the USB-C Charging cables will fail as disconnected, not shorted.

I continue to think any risk is very low.

absolutely not. Remember this device is called a Power Adapter. The actual CHARGER is deep inside to computer, and only does anything under computer control.

I have seen many connectors damaged in the way that one is (I have three boys) and in every case, unless they just did not work any more at the moment, we continued to use them. Sometimes they do fail, other times they keep working until we were done with the device.

If it would give you peace of mind, then by all means replace it.

I'm not a technician so I cannot say it won't damage your laptop in the long run. And I would expect any tech whom you approach with the question will advise to replace it, if only to cover their a**. I would continue to use it.

Fortunately, these cables are relatively inexpensive, so again, if you are seeking peace of mind, then you should replace it.

ACTUAL problems you might see from such damage include the plug-end of the adapter getting VERY hot. This is far more common in Twisted L-shaped MagSafe ends, but it indicates a short in the two wires from charger to MagSafe-end.

Note that the LED lights are controlled by commands from the Computer.

That looks relatively minor. I'd push it back and use it until it started giving me problems.
