Add stop not available

I have an iPhone 15 Pro and I want to add multiple stops for walking around this evening using Maps. However, the “Add Stop” button is nowhere to be seen. User error or is there a setting I cannot find? Here is a screen shot….

Once I actually arrived I seem to only have the options of “END ROUTE” or waste battery on phone and watch while repeatedly being tapped on the wrist to make a turn (from inside a building.) Ending the route would seem to entail reconstructing the entire rest of the route. At least that was my experience the last time I ended a route under similar circumstances in Maps. Perhaps the solution is to turn the iPhone off and hope that the route is preserved.

Apple Maps direction not working on my iPhone 14 New iPhone 14e, Apple Maps does not give directions anymore. I've only had this for a week and already Apple Maps doesn't work. I key in a location, hit the Drive button and only get a travel time, the Steps button, and can preview the route. But it does not initiate the directions, since there is no GO button. Have tried restarting the app, restarting the iPad, deleting/re-adding the app. No change. Locations are on while using app; location services is accurate, and date/time/region OK. Maps doesn't reappear on iOS 26 Lock Screen Since I have updated to iOS26, Maps appears on the lock screen, but once I black it out, it does not reappear for directions. Prior to updating to iOS26, I could black out the screen and Maps would illuminate anytime a direction was coming up and then it would black out. Now if its blacked out, I have to illuminate the screen and my location on Maps is not accurate. It takes a few seconds to get caught up on my location. All good. I just realized, doesn’t offer multiple stops while walking, only driving. I would like to suggest multiple stops be offered for walking, too.

There are no Apple employees here to see or respond to your feature request. Just fellow users in these public communities.

You can send direct feedback to the iOS/iPadOS Maps product team though. Just don't expect them to respond, or if they do, it will be to your email associated with your Apple ID.
