Apple Account restriction persists after recovery

My Apple ID was recently restricted while browsing online, blocking access to essential apps like financial apps and the App Store. The "Sign Out" option is also disabled, preventing me from managing my device.

Although Apple Support helped me recover my account, the restriction remains, and I still can't access key services. Any advice on fully restoring my account access would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Have you turned off Restrictions at Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, then turn the switch off on the top of that page. After that, back out to the Settings and restart your device and compare your results.

Do you have any Profiles listed at Settings > General > VPN & Device Management?

Your Apple ID has no say in what Apps can or cannot be download. There is no setting on an Apple ID that can restrict this. Whatever is happening, has nothing to do with your Apple ID.

Settings to restrict Apps only exist in Screen Time on a device.

If you are not allowed to download certain apps from the App Store, check Screen time for age restrictions to apps and also for restrictions on allowing account changes like signing out.
