Battery Drain issue - No cell Coverage

The battery starts to drain over the last few days. I just updated to iOS ver 18.0.1

The phone is 15 Pro Max

When I look at usage, most of it was because of No Cell Coverage.

I am not a heavy user of my cell phone so it was strange to see the phone drain down to 50%

during the day and the reason was no cell coverage.

I have restarted the phone same problem.

My wife and my son iPhones are not experiencing the same issue in the same house

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

Your phone is constantly searching for a cellular signal from your carrier, and it works much harder to do this if the cell signal is weak or does not exist in the area where the phone is located.

Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop to have your phone checked and tested.

You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link:

Of course, your phone will probably work perfectly at the shop, so your next contact would be to your cellular carrier who will likely try to blame the problem on Apple, but since the phone worked perfectly at the Apple Store, that theory won't hold up.

Ask your carrier to send a technician out to test the phone at your house, where you are having problems.
