How to change language setting in my iPhone?

My wife misplaces her phone very often and I am frequently logging onto iCloud to find her phone. All good and dandy so far. But on occasion, I am greeted on iCloud in Spanish. No idea why, no idea how to switch to English in order to follow the prompts. And lately, it is in Spanish ALL the time and ALWAYS on the iPhone, never on the laptop. Whatever supposed Apple predeictive logic is clearly not very clever. I love Apple products and have been a loyal from my first device, and I rarely ever curse anything Apple, until this time. So, Questions: Does anyone know why this is? and How I can change this setting?

And no, English is not my only language, I speak 3 other languages, just that Spanish is not one of them.

Did you check your iPhone Language and Region?

Go to Settings > General > Language & Region. Ensure iPhone Language and Region are set to your preferred language (e.g., English) and location.

Also, if accessing iCloud through Safari, open icloud.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, and look for a language or globe icon. Select your preferred language (e.g., English).

Might be obvious, but if you have any VPNs installed - you should check them too.

Hope this helps!

Remains a mystery. My phone Region setting are USA and Languages are English, Swedish and German. No Spanish. My wife whose phone I often looking for, does speak Spanish. But she too is complaining that her phone is showing more and more Spanish. I'll have to examine her phone when she gets back as her phone may be the culprit. That would still be odd though because the Spanish is before I can log in to anyone's phone.

But you gave me an idea about VPN that may point to the root cause. I have NordVPN on my phone that I rarely use. But even there Spanish or any country associated with a Spanish language is not any of the regions I have ever conected to or in my profile. But as soon as I conencted to a US VPN server, boom, my iCloud login page went to English.
