MacBook Air 2017 restarting again and again

I have MacBook Air 2017. When i turn on, it start upto login page and then restarted again and shows an error saying that your computer restarted or shut down because of a problem. However it is working fine in safe mode. MacBook Air is updated to most compatible version.

I tried so many things

  • Run diagnostic but it shows no issue found.
  • Reinstall macOS
  • Erase and install macOS
  • Reset PRAM

I suggest that you boot up your Mac in Safe Mode, and then, run an EtreCheck report. Optionally, you can post it here if you need assistance with interpreting its results. In case you are not familiar with EtreCheck, it is a free diagnostics tool, developed by a valued forum member, that greatly aides in troubleshooting difficult Mac issues.

Despite completing the necessary troubleshooting steps for a macOS issue, if the safe mode is functioning correctly, the problem may not be related to macOS itself but rather to external software.

I recommend thoroughly examining all the external software installed on your Mac to identify any potential causes of the problems. Most of the times it is an unstable piece of external software installed to your Mac that causes these kinds of issues

Your Mac has experienced numerous kernel panics. Most appear to be related to memory. Could also be potentially be a logic board issue as well.

Do you have any peripherals attached to this Mac? If so, temporarily remove all of them, and then, try restarting in normal mode. If the panics continue, you should contact Apple Support directly for further assistance with this matter. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
