I got one of my AirPod’s replaced and it won’t connect with my other one

I can get both AirPods (Pro 2nd gen) to connect separately and they charge fine but if I put them both in the charging case it flashes amber and dings and won’t show up on my phone the only issue I can see is the new one firmware is 6F8 and my old one is 7A305 and I can’t seem to get it to update to test if that’s the issue

After replacing my right earbud the new one does not connect/pair . I received my right side earbud and it is not able to link to my Airpods Pro. Airpods pro 2 lightning and type c doesnt pair Hello there. I have Apple airpods pro 2 Gen type C case. I lost my right airpod and my friend gave me her right airpod that it is Airpod type C 2 Gen also but from lightning case. I cannot pair together in my case just the one each time. They have different firmware althought the Final firmware for both of them is the same. I took them to an official partner service, and they say they cannot pair them if they are from different type charging case. I asked them to update to the latest firmware AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C): 6B34 AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with MagSafe Charging Case (Lightning): 6B34 and they told me they cant do that. (the update) Any thoughs or similar problem that solved? Thanks
