Can't view videos stored on Seagate external drive

Hello, I imported my photos library onto my seagate drive however when I go to open videos in the library from the external drive they wont open. I've tried exporting the videos but get an error and my permissions are all set to read and write. Any idea of what I can do to view videos stored on the hard drive?

Can't open Photos Library on New Mac My Photos Library is stored on a Toshiba external hard disk. When I connect the HD to my new mac and try to switch libraries in the Photos app to view my photos the Photos App crashes and doesn't switch. I moved my photo library to my Seagate hard drive. Is it possible to move it back to my MacBook? I was unable to move new imports to the Photo Library. I moved the Photo Library to my seagate so photos would be backed up. I read on this site to do this if I wanted to try Photo Library Repair. When I tried to open Photos on my MacBook, it said to connect the Seagate. So does this mean that every time I want to use my Photos app, I have to attach the Seagate? I do not want to lose any of my photos.
