is usb-b cable preventing from being recognized

New iPhone15 not recognized by windows 10 . Using the usb-b to usb-c cable. Is that problem?

I imagine you meant USB-A to USB-C? It could be you are using a cable only suitable for charing as opposed to one which will charge and carry data?
