Unable to reset MacBook Air as I don't have previous Apple ID
Someone gave me this MacBook Air, but it needs to be reset will I be able to reset it if I do not have their Apple ID?

You can't factory reset if you don't have previous owner's AppleID and its password.

Try to someone who gave you your MacBook Air to ask for factory reset.
